Flex 618 has created the “Joint Actions Task Force” or (JATF) Keep this in mind during this Election. Political & Social Polarization, both are putting limitations on the future of St. Clair County. I’m representing East St. Louis and Cahokia Heights, to create mediation, between both Democratic & Republican parties. Weak polarization occurs when Republicans and Democrats don’t work together because they are just interested in different issues, creating an “Us and Them” situation. In contrast, strong polarization occurs when the Republicans and Democrats actively oppose each other, creating an “Us versus Them” situation.
